I’m Ashley Gardner, the founder and lead instructor of Piece Be Steel. As a certified firearms instructor through the USCCA and a strong advocate for personal safety, I created this company with one mission in mind: to empower everyday people—especially within faith-based communities—to protect themselves and those they love with confidence, skill, and legal knowledge.

With years of hands-on experience and a heart for education, I specialize in training civilians, security teams, and community members in responsible gun ownership, Maryland firearm laws, and real-world self-defense strategies. My goal is not just to teach you how to shoot—but to ensure you understand your rights, your responsibilities, and how to respond with wisdom under pressure.
